The Guarantee

Guarantees That Scale With Your Commitment.

Every engagement level carries its own replacement guarantee, spelled out in plain language and written into your agreement before work begins. The deeper the commitment, the longer the protection, up to a full year.

Classic Retained Premium Includes

The 365-Day Full Replacement Guarantee.

Our highest commitment, for the hires that matter most. If the leader we place departs within a full year, we re-run the entire search: complete market review, outreach, evaluation, and close, at no additional professional fee.

Every Engagement. Every Guarantee.

One for each way we work, matched to the commitment on both sides of the table.

Contingency Search
60 Days

Free replacement if the placement departs within the first sixty days. Success-only engagement: pay when you hire, protected after you do.

Classic Retained Premium
365 Days

The full-year guarantee above. Built for CHRO and CPO searches, confidential replacements, and high-stakes executive hires.

Engaged Search
6 Months

Half-year protection on VP-level and complex searches. Shared commitment, shared confidence in the outcome.

How It Works, In Four Sentences.

I.

The window matches your engagement.

Sixty days on contingency, six months on Engaged Search, and a full 365 days on Classic Retained Premium, chosen before the search begins.

II.

The trigger is simple.

The placed leader departs, or is terminated for cause, within that window. That is it. There is nothing buried in the definition.

III.

The remedy is a full search, never a discount.

A complete replacement search at no additional professional fee: the same market review, the same outreach, the same evaluation as the original engagement.

IV.

It is in writing before work begins.

Your guarantee tier sits in your fee agreement, scoped and signed before the search launches. What is promised on this page is what is promised in the contract.

Protection Up to a Full Year. Rarely Needed in Twenty.

Guarantees this strong only work if the process in front of them does. Glove-fit evaluation, complete market review, and deep references mean the guarantee gets written into every agreement and almost never gets invoked. The best guarantee is the one that sleeps.

What It Does Not Cover.

Stated here rather than left for the agreement, because a guarantee with unread exclusions is not a guarantee.

  • Role elimination. If the seat is made redundant or the function is restructured away, that is a business decision rather than a hiring outcome.
  • Material change to the role. If the job accepted becomes a substantially different job inside the window, the original brief no longer applies.
  • Unsettled invoices. The guarantee runs from a settled engagement.
  • Third-party costs. The professional fee is waived in full. Direct costs already incurred, such as travel or assessments, are neither re-billed nor refunded.

Hire With the Risk Matched to the Stakes.

Fifteen minutes covers your role, the right engagement level, and your guarantee in writing. You leave with clarity either way.
