Every November, I’m reminded of something simple but important: the work only matters because of the people we do it with. The leaders who tell the truth when it’s uncomfortable, the HRBPs who keep culture steady without asking for credit, and the teammates who make long weeks manageable — these are the people who shape workplaces worth working in.
Thanksgiving offers a rare pause. A moment to notice the colleagues who bring clarity when things get noisy, the ones who step in before they’re asked, and the ones who carry the weight quietly and consistently. The ones who turn “good enough” into “well done.”
This year, I’m grateful for the candidates who stay in touch even when the job doesn’t land, the clients who show up with honesty and bold expectation, and the colleagues who raise the standard by how they carry themselves. Gratitude isn’t soft — it’s a signal of leadership. When people feel seen and valued, they lean in. They grow. They stay.
Here’s to a holiday full of good food, good company, and the kind of reset that reminds you why your work matters.
Happy Thanksgiving — and thank you for being part of our world.
